Camping at Double Lake

We recently went camping at Double Lake Recreation Area in the Sam Houston National Forest. I've never been in a forest with trees so tall and branches only at the very top! In the morning we thought it was raining, but it was dew falling from the tops of the trees. As always, we wished we had more time.
















We stopped in at the Texas Nuthouse on the way home. They had wine jellies, flavored pecans and old fashioned candy.
